If you need help, the intake person will explain the steps to take to apply for enrollment and will assist you with completing the application and getting the documents you may need. The Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities has been supporting the formation of a Parent Support Group. We are looking for your involvement! The Family Support Group is open to anyone who is a family member, friend, guardian, or natural support, to an individual with a developmental disability. The purpose of the group is to provide support, share resources, receive trainings on special topics, provide input and direction to the Board of Developmental Disabilities, and receive updates on Developmental Disabilities events. support and guidance to other parents of school aged children with disabilities. Parents, with the support of the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities and the Knox County Board of Developmental Disabilities, will have access to a Parent Mentor network.
