If your child is not meeting their milestones, Early Intervention could be the key to getting them back on track! The Early Intervention program is a free service designed to meet the needs of eligible infants and toddlers birth through age two that are delayed in meeting milestones, have a developmental disability, or are at risk of having a developmental disability. Needs are met through individually designed plans, therapy services and by providing information and opportunities to enhance the child's development. Early Intervention Services are coordinated with other community agencies including the Knox County Health Department's Help Me Grow System, and the County Collaborative Group (CCG). Services are flexible, build upon family strengths and are responsive to family choice. For more information, contact the Knox County Health Department's Help Me Grow program at 740-392-2200 or 1-800-755-GROW
Referrals for Early Intervention services are made through the Knox County Health Department's Help Me Grow program.
